Samsung, after claiming to have sold one million Samsung souls, has released a pink version of soul. This model is mainly intended for ladies with pink shell.

Samsung announced two environmentally friendly mobile handsets, W510 and F268, at the World IT Show in Seoul. W510 is made with ‘bio-plastic’ made from natural material extracted from corn. Samsung F268 and all its accessories, including charger and headset, do not contain BFRs (brominated flame retardants) or PVC.

Samsung has released a Samsung SGH-D780 Gold Plated Edition and become the official phone of Russia’s Olympic team. Samsung SGH-D780 accepts 2 SIM cards.

Samsung has officially announced its next flagship model and iPhone killer, which it calls the i900 Omnia, featuring a 3.2-inch wide QVGA display and Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. The Samsung i900 Omnia is a multimedia feature touch screen phone that packs a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with face and smile detection technology.

Soulb is the latest model unveiled by Samsung which is a candy bar phone. The handset comes in at 9.9-millimeters thick and features a 3-megapixel camera (with Power LED flash), document viewer / editor, web browser, multimedia player, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio (with RDS support), 1GB of internal memory and a microSD. Soulb is available in Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet. The price of this model is not known yet.

Samsung has announced the latest S60 based slider phone L870. L870 comes packed with feature like any other S60 devices. It is running S60v3.2 over Symbian 9.3.

Samsung’s recently announced phone F480 will be known as Tocco. Tocco is a touch screen phone packed with features. Tocco features a QVGA 2.8 inch screen, FM radio, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and a 5MP camera. Tocco is an Italian word for touch. Apparently there is no news on the pricing details of Tocco.

Samsung has recently announced the launch of its new model F480 also called as Touchwiz. This phone offers quick and simple drag and drop features, a unique menu of widgets which display functions and an ultra thin and refined texture.

Samsung Instinct is a great phone which is looked into as an iphone killer. Samsung Instinct will debut with Sprint as confirmed by sources. Instinct is a full touch screen phone and would be available in stores with Sprint on June 20th.
